Saudi Space Authority Launched 1st Specialized Training Program

Saudi Space Authority launched its first specialized training program, in the field of space, and its technologies, in cooperation with Airbus Defense and Space Company, to raise the level of education and practical know-how, in the space sector, for those interested and wishing to learn space sciences, as well as undergraduate students, SPA reported.

The authority explained that the Space 101 training ,program, which focuses on learning the basics of space science and technology, through the implementation of professional, career and qualification programs, under the supervision of experts specialized, in the field of space and its technologies.

This training program comes in implementation of the partnership agreement agreed upon on the sidelines of the activities of the International Astronautical Conference 2022 of IAC, last October, between the Saudi Space Authority and Airbus Defense and Space Company, to prepare national cadres, in this important field, to enrich the beneficiaries with global experiences, in the space sector and its industry, in addition to enhancing job opportunities for trainees in the space field, and contributing to achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
