SAMA Approves Merger between Amana and Enaya

Amana Cooperative Insurance Company (Amanah Insurance) and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Company (Enaya) announced on Wednesday the issuance of the Approval of the Saudi Central Bank on 23.11.2021on the potential Merger.

The two companies indicated that the merger remains subject to a number of conditions including obtaining the remaining regulatory approvals and the approvals of the companies’ shareholders.

The two companies had signed a binding merger agreement, and announced the terms of the merger deal and the regulatory approvals mentioned in the announcement, which stipulated that the approval or no objection of the Saudi Central Bank shall be obtained to complete the merger deal.
