Ministry of Finance celebrated the graduation of the first batch of the Revenue Ambassadors Program, launched as part of the initiative to enable government agencies to sustain their financial performance.
The ceremony took place, in the presence of Chairman of the Steering Committee Saleh Al-Fraih.
Ministry of Finance is working during the transformation phase, that the country is witnessing within the framework of achieving the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, Al-Fraih said, adding that it is in order to enable ministries and government agencies to implement their projects and initiatives, as the revenue ambassadors Program is one of the important tools to achieve this goal.
The ministry witnessed a stage of transformation and development of everything related to the financial sector, including policies, plans, ideas, initiatives and projects that preceded and accompanied the preparation of the state’s general budget, until it became the way it is witnessing today.
In order to achieve this, the ministry sought to develop the financial system and financial management, and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of government spending, raising the level of services provided, in order to achieve financial sustainability, stability and economic growth, and contribute to the development of government revenues, he explained.
Reflection of that on the size, importance and value of the revenue ambassadors program and its role in preparing national cadres, at professional levels and in a successful and solid partnership with government agencies, is obvious, he pointed out.
