OxfordSaudia Flight Academy Signs Training Contract with Alpha Aviation Academy

OxfordSaudia Flight Academy and Alpha Aviation Academy, owned by Air Arabia, has signed an agreement to train up to 100 cadet students, yearly, in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

OxfordSaudia will train trainee pilots to the Alpha Aviation Academy syllabus in preparation for the Multi-Crew Pilot License under the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority, GCAA.

This agreement is the first for OxfordSaudia Flight Academy, in the GCC, outside of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where it aims to be a landmark in aviation training and support the aviation industry considered to be one of the most growing regions around the world.

“We aim to be the best global destination for flight training. OxfordSaudia Flight Academy is strategically located, in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia being an hour away by flight from UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain. We are happy with our first agreement with the well-known Alpha Aviation Academy to support their training requirements for the advancement of the aviation industry in the region.

This agreement helps creates jobs for our Saudi graduates as flight instructors which is aligned with the Kingdom’s 2030 vision” Captain Larry Wade, the CEO of OxfordSaudia Flight Academy said.

OxfordSaudia Flight Academy was not a difficult choice as it draws upon more than 75 years of experience in aviation training. Our Trainee pilots will conduct their training in a state of the art brand new fleet of Diamond DA40 equipped with the latest technologies and has similar joy stick control to Airbus A320 which we believe is an added value as well” the Captain Nadhim Alhamad, the General manager for Alpha Aviation Academy explained.

  • The training will be on DA40 as part of the Multi-Crew Pilot License approved by the GCAA in the UAE
