The Saudi Oxford Aviation Academy signed a financing agreement with Bank Albilad to purchase new training aircraft, to meet the increasing demand for aviation training and in line with its expansion plans inside and outside the Kingdom.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow 2021. “Bank Albilad is pleased to sign a cooperation agreement with the Saudi Oxford Aviation Academy, which will contribute to increasing the output of national cadres, in the field of civil and commercial aviation and pilot training, in order to activate the strategic plans to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to increase local content in various fields,” CEO of Bank Albilad Abdulaziz Al-Anizan said, adding that the leading and technical activities, and this partnership will enable the achievement of the goals of the Academy and enhance its sustainability for the future stage, he added.”

It is worth noting that the Saudi Oxford Academy was established, at King Fahd International Airport, in Dammam, to cover the huge shortage of training centers, in the region, and seeks to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, to become a global destination, in aviation training and investing, in the capabilities granted by the state so that the academy can compete and achieve its goals of empowering and qualifying the youth of the country of both sexes, through a training program, with a clear path until they get a job, and this program offered by the academy ends with employment.
It is unique in that the graduates of the academy get the opportunity to work as flight instructors, in any of the Oxford academies centers, around the world so that the Saudi aviation instructor becomes a trainer for world pilots.
The academy is distinguished by a modern fleet of diamond planes, numbering up to 60 planes, and 4 flight simulators for training, on the latest modern technology and training methods and means.
