Nayef Al-Hajraf: GCC States make Solid Steps towards 4th Industrial Revolution since its Launch

Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf said that the GCC states have taken steady steps towards the fourth industrial revolution since its inception by developing strategic visions and developing their governmental and legislative system.

The Secretary General’s remarks were made during the opening session of the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Courts and Law Affairs today, organized by the GCC Assistant Secretariat for Legal and Legislative Affairs and the Global Artificial Intelligence Group, at Expo 2020 Dubai, with the participation of the Council’s justice ministers, which is the first international conference on artificial intelligence in court affairs, and the first of its kind in the region, to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence in transforming legal services to smart systems at the level of judges, lawyers, and individuals.

Dr. Al-Hajraf said the world, with the launch of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, is witnessing competition in developing the infrastructure to keep pace with upcoming changes in digital technology, in particular, and the modern economy and enhance competitiveness and development in all countries.
