Al-Mutairi, Lutes attended the video confrence

National Competitiveness Center, American Chamber of Commerce, virtually, Held Periodic Meeting

The National Competitiveness Center and the American Chamber of Commerce, virtually, held their periodic meeting, in the presence of as many as 23 American companies representatives, the National Competitive Center senior staff, the Saudi Standards Organization and the National Cybersecurity Authority representatives.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Commerce and CEO of the National Competitiveness Center Dr. Iman Al-Mutairi, and the Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce for the Middle East, Steve Lutes, discussed growth opportunities and the competitiveness of promising sectors, in addition to addressing the challenges facing American companies, operating in the Kingdom, and ways to address them, in collaboration with relevant authorities.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Mutairi stressed the need to continue to support American companies, operating in the Kingdom, in addition to aligning government efforts, in the field of competitiveness, with the best global developments, noting the importance of informing companies of what is being presented through a survey platform, that allow providing remarks on regulations, laws and what is in its judgment before its approval.

For his part, Lutes stressed that the American Chamber of Commerce and the companies represented in it, seek to align their businesses and goals, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, appreciating the continuous communication between the Chamber, the National Competitiveness Center and the relevant government agencies, in the Kingdom.

It is noteworthy that the meeting is held periodically between the American Chamber of Commerce and the Center, seeking to enhance communication with the local and foreign private sectors, and to act as a supportive partner for them, in the business environment, in the Kingdom.
