Minister of Industry Chairs Industrial Council Meeting

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef chaired the first meeting of the 2nd session of the Industrial Council.

During the meeting, which comprised representatives from the government and private sectors, they discussed addressing the challenges facing industrialists and studying their needs, by increasing positive partnership between stakeholders, in the two sectors.

They also reviewed the Council’s agenda, which included the governance of the council’s work, activating the internal work teams, and discussing channels for addressing any challenges facing industrial investors, in a short time.

In addition to following up on the progress of the council’s recommendations, in its previous session and what have been done, in their regard.

The Industrial council aims at positive partnership between all stakeholders, in the industrial sector and governance of the relationships, relevant to government agencies and partners from the private sector, seeking to participate, in building policies and possible legislations for the sector.

Along with following up vital economic indicators, and improving the economic environment for industrial investments, by following the index Industrial competitiveness, and indicators of achieving strategic objectives of the Saudi industrial sector, and compare them with international indicators of competitiveness.
