Made in Saudi Arabia Program Take part, in SMIIC Meetings

The “Made in Saudi Arabia” program took part, in the exhibition accompanying the meetings of the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), with participation of 145 representatives of 45 Islamic countries and 14 regional and international organizations, at King Salman International Conference Center, in Madinah.

The event comes as part of the efforts aimed at strengthening cooperation and strategic partnerships with local authorities and introducing the program, its vision and objectives, in an effort to achieve the program’s goals, that support the national industry, enhance the Kingdom’s leading role, at the regional, Islamic and international levels, and enhance the Islamic depth of the Kingdom, at all levels.

It is noteworthy that the program aims to increase domestic consumption and market share of local goods and services, increase Saudi non-oil exports in priority export markets, and contribute to enhancing the attractiveness of the Saudi industrial sector for local and foreign investment, as well.
