Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern region, is set to inaugurate today, activities of the Logistics Forum 2021, organized by the Asharqia Chamber.
Participation of a number of officials, experts and specialists, is programmed, to discuss topics related to the logistics sector, one of the most important objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The forum will, in addition tackled transport industry, and the idea of establishing a fully-serviced logistics area in the Eastern region, based on its importance and relative advantages, as it is the starting point for the Gulf countries via land and sea, and from which exports, especially energy and related goods, move to all countries of the world, and as it constitutes a pivotal point in the global economy.
Comparative advantages of the Eastern region, which hosts a number of primary and secondary petrochemical industrial complexes, and the industrial cities of Dammam, Jubail, Khafji and Ras Al-Khair, are also on the table and at the floor.
