On US stock exchanges, over last 3-month 

 As much as SR50.6 bln worth Traded, abroad, by Saudi Nationals

Saudis trading (buying and selling) of American stocks, through companies licensed fell to SR50.6 billion, at the end of the third quarter of the year, down from SR64 billion, or 55.7% in the third quarter of 2020, when it was as much as SR114.2 billion, keeping the downward trend, the Capital Market Authority (CMA) reported.

For the third quarter of 2021, Saudi stock exchange trading fell by SR10 billion, or 15%, compared to the second quarter of the year, at  SR60.6 billion, continuing its downward trend, for the fourth quarter, in a row.

Saudi transactions are separated into seven geographical regions by regulated brokerage firms: local, Gulf, Arab, Asian, American, European, and other.

In the third quarter of the year, the total trading value was SR950.8 billion, compared to SR1.35 trillion, in the second quarter of 2021, and local trade accounted for SR950.8 billion.

The US market finished in second position, accounting for 94.6 percent of overall trade worth SR899 billion, with a stake of around 5% of total trading, while other markets accounted for only 0.4 percent of the total trading value.
