OxfordSaudia Flight Academy placed an order for two Level 5 Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTD) from Diamond Aircraft Austria The two FSTDs will be configured as DA40 NG and DA42-VI aircraft and will be located in the flight academy’s center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The new FSTDs will enable OxfordSaudia to meet the growing demand on flight training as it aims to be the leading destination for ab-initio flight training worldwide.
Diamond flight simulators are built of authentic Diamond aircraft parts, with real avionics, high-end visuals and OEM flight dynamic models for fidelity that is simply unsurpassed.
They are designed for both basic and advanced instrument, navigation and procedural training, they are perfectly suited for instruction, check flights, screening purposes and skill proficiency tests.
Simulator’s cockpit is equipped with the exact same avionics and instruments that are installed in the DA40 and DA42, generating a truly realistic flight experience.
The instrument panel is fitted with the Garmin G1000 NXi avionics suite and standby instruments.
All simulators are fully modelled after the DA40 and the DA42 aircraft and are the only training device for the DA40/DA42 fleet available on the market that is based on an officially approved Diamond data package.
It was important to choose devices that offer the highest degree of realism in order to maximize the efficiency of the training in a state-of-the-art program.
We want only the best for our students in every area of the training program and the choice of flight simulators for OxfordSaudia Flight Academy had to match our philosophy for selection of our training partners, staffing and equipment.
We are uncompromising in providing the students and instructors with only those products that have the latest technology from companies with a long history of providing the highest level of quality, maintenance support and service and Diamond meets those requirements,” Captain Larry Wade, Chief Executive Officer, OxfordSaudia stated.
This order represents our continuous relationship with our valued customer OxfordSaudia that has made one of the largest aircraft purchase agreements of 60 Diamond aircraft back in 2018.
We are delighted about their very successful development and are proud to be part of this exciting journey to move the aviation industry forward,” Jane Wang, Sales Director, Diamond Aircraft Austria concluded..
