With the aim of enhancing joint cooperation

Tahliya, Cummins Co-sign MoU

The General Corporation for Saline Water Conversion (Tahliya) signs a memorandum of cooperation with Cummins Company, with the aim of enhancing joint cooperation between the two parties, in the field of engineering and research consultancy.

In addition to training in the fields of renewable energy, to)develop hydrogen gas production as a source of clean energy to preserve the environment.

The memorandum was signed by Issam Al-Jarba, Executive Director of Investment and Business Development at the General Corporation for Saline Water Conversion, and Amit Dashbandi, CEO of Cummins.

The signing of this memorandum comes to maximize the utilization of the Corporation’s capabilities and innovate solutions in the water desalination industry, in order to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 to achieve zero carbon emissions, and to diversify energy sources by employing modern and promising technologies to achieve this goal.

The two parties intend to develop and innovate practical solutions to reduce carbon emissions, develop hydrogen gas production and adopt it as an alternative source of energy, and transform the water desalination industry into an environmentally friendly industry.

This comes in the context of the global trend in support of hydrogen development, which will contribute to reshaping energy chains around the world.
