Riyadh Airports Company (the operating company of King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh) announced joining the Airports Council International (ACI Asia-Pacific).
ACI is the international trade body that represents the interests of airports, with governments and other international civil aviation organizations, develops standards, policies and recommended practices for the airport sector.
It also provides data, information and specialized training to raise the efficiency of airport workers around the world.
The Council was established in 1991 in Montreal, and has five regional offices in different regions of the world, namely: Casablanca, Hong Kong, Brussels, Panama City, and Washington.
With this obtaining the ACI membership “Riyadh Airports” becomes part of a wide network of airport operators, at the international level concerned with developing airports, enabling them to exchange experiences and access experiences, and to benefit from the membership advantages, in increasing the operational and economic efficiency of King Khalid International Airport and improving the passenger experience.
In addition, there is also the building of national human capacities, through the specialized training and qualification programs, as the council provides its members with, as well as benefiting from best practices in the fields of security, operational safety and information technology.
