Jubail Commercial Port achieved an increase in container handling by 27%, or more than 53 thousand standard containers, during the month of September 2021, compared to the same period of the previous year, and the port also achieved a record in the speed of container ships’ departure, within five minutes after the end of handling work.

This step confirms the strength of the port’s supply chains, and its readiness to receive various types and sizes of ships, in light of the strategic objectives of the Ports Authority towards attracting international shipping lines and expanding the absorptive capacities of Saudi ports.
