Johnson Controls Int’l Inaugurate New Regional HQ, in Saudi Arabia

Johnson Controls International announced a decision to open a regional headquarters, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in alliance with Al Salem Johnson Controls.

The step falls, in line with the ambitious goals of Vision 2030. This announcement came on the second day of the 5th edition of the Future Investment Initiative conference, recently held under the title “Investing in Humanity” in Riyadh.

On the sidelines of the conference, the CEO of Al Salem Johnson Controls, in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon and Yemen Dr. Muhannad Al-Sheikh, said that Johnson Controls’ decision to open a new regional headquarters, in the Kingdom comes within the framework of benefiting from the positive investment climate, provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

This is in line with Vision 2030’s “National Transformation” and “Financial Sector Development” programs.

“This will enable us to expand our production and exports to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, the Middle East, Africa and South Asia,” he added, stressing that 30% of the York factory products of Al Salem Johnson Controls in Saudi Arabia have been exported to more than 20 countries inside and outside the region until right Now.”

In a related context, Al-Sheikh said: “Al Salem Johnson Controls is among the most prominent success stories of the global Johnson Controls company, since the 90s of the last century, succeeding in establishing strong presence, in the Kingdom, through the implementation of major public and private sector projects.

The inventory, operation and maintenance of the two cooling stations of the Grand Mosque, in Makkah, which annually serve millions of pilgrims and visitors to the Grand Mosque, and providing new King Abdulaziz International Airport, in Jeddah, with integrated solutions for cooling and control systems, and other successful projects implemented in the cities and various regions, Kingdom-wide.

Among the most prominent global gains of Johnson Controls from the opening of its new headquarters in Saudi Arabia, is strengthening its presence, in the largest regional and international markets alike, and this step represents a quantum leap in benefiting from the large and promising investment opportunities, in important sectors, such as tourism, hospitality and education, and health care, etc..

To expand exports, Al Salem Johnson Controls moved its new factory, the largest York factory to the “Industrial Valley” in King Abdullah Economic City, where it is expected to contribute to the expansion of local manufacturing, by doubling production lines, increasing the rate of exporting domestic products to regional and international markets, as well.
