Introductory Workshop on Saudi Dates’ Brand

The Chamber of Commerce, in Qassim region, in cooperation with the National Center for Palms and Dates, organize an introductory workshop on the Saudi dates brand.

The Director of the Sectoral Committees Department in the Chamber Suleiman Al-Qafari explained that the workshop, will address several axes of interest to producers and manufacturers of dates, including introducing the Saudi dates brand to farms, its objectives, advantages, standards, and procedures for obtaining it.

He stressed the importance of the workshop introducing this important mark aimed at ensuring a high level of quality, raising the market value of Saudi dates, in addition to increasing the Kingdom’s exports of high-quality dates, in an effort to contribute to increasing the Kingdom’s non-oil exports.

He indicated that the establishment of this workshop comes from the standpoint of cooperation and integration with the National Center for Palms and Dates, in the development of the dates sector in the region, calling on producers and exporters of dates and those interested to attend this workshop, because of its importance in contributing to increasing the Kingdom’s exports and opening external outlets and markets for their products.
