GAMI Chief Meets with Int’l Defense, Security Firms’ CEOs

Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) Eng. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali, has met with a number of CEOs of major international companies, operating in the military industries sector.

During the meeting, which included French company Thales, American Boeing Defense, Space and Security, American General Dynamics, Italian Leonardo, and American Lockheed Martin, they reviewed strategic trends, in the military industries sector, in the Kingdom, and its investment environment, witnessing an tremendous movement.

As it is unprecedented in terms of empowering local and international investors, in light of the objectives of Vision 2030 to localize military industries, in the Kingdom.

Eng. Al-Ohali pointed to the qualitative opportunities, great potential, and unlimited support that the military industries sector enjoys, in the Kingdom, noting the importance of opening major offices, for these companies to enhance cooperation, in the industrial sector.

In addition, to contribute to technology transfer and create job opportunities, and maximize their presence, in the Kingdom, to benefit from the advantage of easy access to the system of beneficiaries and actors, in the sector.
