Duba is in the midst of the Kingdom’s projects related to the development of local tourist hub, as its Development Authority undertakes the implementation of many relevant programs and projects.
Duba stands out as one of the most important stations for supporting the national economy, to the north of the Red Sea, due to its rich spatial and human resources.
Located, at the northwestern part of the Kingdom, on the Red Sea coast, between latitudes 20/27 north and longitude 40/35 east, was known in the past for its resources on the Red Sea coast, to the west of it and 35 km away, is the Duba Port.
It was established to contribute to a comprehensive revival of the infrastructure, in the north of the Kingdom, and it is among the closest ports of the Kingdom to the countries of the Mediterranean rim and the North African countries, including the marine navigation artery of Suez Canal, 257 nautical miles away to the north.
In addition to its presence on the international shipping line between America, Europe and the East, through the Suez Canal and Bab al-Mandab strait.
The port is expected to receive, in light of its readiness, ships of all kinds and with a capacity of more than 10 million tons, annually, and 6,000 passengers per day, and a prominent role in the global trade and tourism, backed up by huge projects of the NEOM, Red Sea and Amaala.
To the north of the city of Duba, there is the Green Duba project, one of the largest solar energy projects in the world, providing it with a high level of readiness, in terms of alternative energy, making it a gateway to export electric energy to the world, after implementing a unique and rare connection system of high voltage reliability.
Duba also enjoys a beautiful part of the Red Sea shore, picturesque and diverse sandy beaches and rich in coral reefs.
It contains the most important fish farming projects in the Kingdom (Tabuk Fish Company) and one of the largest projects, in the Middle East, recently witnessed the signing of an agreement between it and NEOM Company, to work on developing and strengthening the aquaculture industry, in the region, whether in modern closed systems with high technology or the developed floating cages, which are expected to operate with a production capacity of 70 million fry.
As its sea waterfront spans an area of more than 190,000 square meters, it is one of the most important features of its tourist attractions, as it goes beyond its name as a waterfront that includes a public park, to an engineering innovation that includes many facilities and landmarks, that host quality events, in Duba, throughout the year
As a tourist, recreational and economic destination for the province, it is surrounded by the roaring sea though with calm waves.
Duba includes a marina for excursion and fishing boats, at the commercial port, which contains green yards and a walkway along it, and its evening view is crowned with decorative lighting, reflecting over its so many virgin beaches.
