The Capital Market Authority (CMA) revealed that the total value of the Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPMs) rose to SR187 billion by the end of the first half of 2021, and domestic equity asset values represented the largest proportion of asset value by about 50.3%.
The total assets increased by SR38.3% at the end of the second quarter of this year, compared to the same quarter of the previous year, which was SR135 billion, and increased by 0.6%, compared to the first quarter of 2021, when it amounted to SR186 billion, according to the CMA data.
The value of the assets of local shares amounted to SR94 billion, representing 50.3% of the total assets, while investment funds amounted to SR23.6%, others 20.4%, debt instruments 3.8%, and international shares 1.9%.
