CMA Launches 2nd Batch of Research Agenda

The Capital Market Authority (CMA) launched the research agenda for the year 2021in it, s second batch, through which it seeks to encourage the work of sound economic and financial studies and research, and to build bridges of communication with researchers, in academic institutions and research centers.

Such a move would reflect in the development of the financial market and the diversification of its investment products.

The authority aims to reach the largest segment of specialized researchers to submit their proposals and the put at their avail, the opportunity to obtain material and logistical support and implement those researches.

In addition to linking academics to financial market issues and raising the level of financial culture among the public.

In the second batch of the research agenda, the authority targets the following topics: Digital assets, crypto assets, financial innovation & fintech, and financial sustainability.

The authority is keen to support researchers by providing technical support and providing data (as applicable), as well as sponsoring research projects and holding workshops to discuss the results and recommendations of studies and research with stakeholders, inside and outside the authority, for the research agenda on a regular basis, to submit their proposals in multiple areas related to financial market activities and jobs.

The CMA is inviting all researchers, in academic institutions and research centers to submit proposals, in the specific research areas, by visiting the official website of the it.
