Civil Aviation Academy Provides the Market Specialized Programs, Centers


The Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation, an affiliate of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, has provided several programs and centers, specialized in civil aviation sciences, with the aim of refining and training national cadres, at the highest levels.

The Academy offers a plan of action that includes specialized programs, in air navigation services, fire and rescue, airport operation, and aviation security, as well as providing a language proficiency test for pilots, controllers and air transporters, as well as providing four training centers, which are the Air Navigation Services Training Center and the Aviation Security Training Center and a center for firefighting and rescue training, and an airport operation training center, which is based on developing the skills of airport workers.

In the past, it was able to achieve many distinct achievements, to register itself among the leading academies, in the Middle East, and to receive international accreditations and recognitions from the largest international aviation organizations, led by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

The academy has become a leading educational entity in the region, providing educational content appropriate to the needs of the civil aviation industry, through a set of specialized programs and courses, in addition to contributing to the qualification and training of human cadres working to support (29) airports in the Kingdom, in addition to providing programs and courses in the specializations of “air traffic control”. maintenance of aviation systems, fire and rescue, airport operation, and aviation security.

In continuation of the achievements, the Academy renewed its international partnerships and alliances with international organizations, including winning the membership and a seat of the Global Aviation Training Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and launching the online portal for the International Fire Services Accreditation Council (IFSAC) exams on its website, to empower all workers in the field of fire and rescue.
