The Riyadh Chamber and the International Association for Exhibitions and Events, the Middle East and North Africa branch at the Chamber’s headquarters today, launched the first Arab version of the (CEM) program specialized, in the manufacture of exhibitions and events.
The first training courses within the program will be launched later in October and next November, at the headquarters of the Riyadh Chamber, with the aim of qualifying cadres national and prepare them to work in the sector.
The association’s president Bilal Al-Barmawi explained that the launch of the program’s work is an outcome of the cooperation agreement, concluded between the chamber and the association, including a number of joint ventures, that aim to provide the exhibition and conference industry, with the qualified cadres it needs.
Noting that the training program will start by organizing a number of training courses, with the participation of a number of trainers, he added that the main activity will take place, in the areas of strategic planning and management, event operations management, conference and meeting management, virtual events, exhibition and event sales, financial affairs, budgeting and contracts, floor planning development, registration and reservations management.
