Asharqia Chamber, Franchise Association Inked Accord

Asharqia Chamber signed a cooperation agreement with the Franchise Association, aimed at enhancing cooperation and joint work between the chamber and the association, and promoting the franchise industry, in the Kingdom, in general, and the Eastern region, in particular.

Abdulhakim Al-Khalidi, Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, explained that the agreement aims to develop a mechanism of cooperation with all parties to help them achieve their goals, he stated.

In order to support and develop the economic and development work of the business sector and serve as a platform to enhance communication opportunities, in the Eastern region, and to qualify young national cadres to work in franchising projects, he elaborated.

For his part, Khaled Youssef, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors stated that the agreement aims at joint cooperation in spreading the culture of commercial franchise, through the implementation of initiatives, programs and activities related to awareness of commercial franchise

The agreement of understanding includes several items, such as awareness and spreading the culture of franchising, and preparing research and studies related to commercial franchising, providing consultancy related to commercial franchise, he noted.

Establishing and organizing events in the field of commercial franchise, and organizing specialized training courses to raise administrative, legal and technical skills, in the field of commercial franchise, he added to conclude.
