Aramco and Total two convenience stations have been inaugurated,
in Riyadh and Saihat, in the Eastern region, following the signing of a 50-50 joint venture agreement between the two energy giants, in 2019.
The step was in light of plans to modernize a network of acquired stations consisting of 270 service stations, and building quality stations that provide high quality services, in all regions across the Kingdom.
These stations will operate under the Saudi Aramco and Total Energy brands, providing motorists with premium fuel and retail services of the highest specifications.
On this occasion, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Aramco, Amin Al-Nasser expressed his pleasure to partner with Total Energy to contribute to raising the quality of life and enhancing technology and sustainability standards, through model and quality fuel retail stations, which enhance the customer experience and support the level of services provided to them.
In addition to keep pace with important developments and growth in the business, travel and tourism sectors within the Kingdom, he added, noting that Saudi Aramco has several thousand fuel stations, in our international business in East Asia and North America, but this is the first time that the company sells fuel with its brand, in the Kingdom has since it stopped doing this in the 1960s, and within the framework of this project, Saudi Aramco and Total Energy intend to create meaningful job opportunities for Saudi citizens.
Under these two brands, customers will be provided with a high level of services that include fuel, convenience stores, as well as auto services such as oil change and washing, as well as launching applications to provide marketing offers to customers.
“V Café” which serves fresh food, hot drinks and relaxation to customers, while they wait in their cars, are among services included, in the plans.
The stations were also provided with solar panels, in response to the objectives of the Green Saudi Initiative.
