Businesswomen’s Committee Organized Meeting on Initiative to Support University Startups

Activating the role of universities in the entrepreneurship system to support the economy
The Riyadh Chamber, represented by the Businesswomen’s Committee, organized a meeting to introduce the initiative to support university startups launched by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Monsha’at” in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, aimed at activating the role of universities in the entrepreneurship system and finding emerging companies that have a tangible contribution to support National economy.

The meeting targeted projects of methodological activities, graduation projects, research and business projects, and projects of university employees.

The meeting dealt with the program to activate cooperation with entrepreneurship centers and institutes, which aims to train accelerators managers with the aim of activating business and innovation centers in universities. The culture of entrepreneurship and innovation through curricula and interactive training directed at the secondary and university levels.
