Under the motto of “Made in Saudi Arabia” program, as many as 21 national company are participating in the Anuga 2021 exhibition, held in Cologne, Germany, from 9 to 13 October.
The program’s participation stems from its role in marketing national products locally, regionally and globally, and directing purchasing power towards local products and services, leading to raising the contribution of the private sector, in the GDP to 65% and raising the percentage of non-oil exports to about 50% of non-oil GDP. by 2030.
Secretary-General of the Saudi Export Development Authority Faisal bin Saad Al-Baddah said that Saudi exports from the food sector witnessed an increase of 9% in the first half of 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, amounting to SR7.4 billion.
