Womanpower Move upward at 40% Growth Rate, per annum, in STC

Women, with Saudi national majority, have made a bold step forward, as their toll, in the Saudi communications giant STC, increased by 120 per cent, in only three years, meaning that the pace of their increment at such working place, could be put at an average of 40 per cent per annum. 

According to the Oxford Business Report, the growth have taken place, from 2018 to 2020, pointing out that the women are occupying as much as 30 per cent of the leading positions, in STC.

The quantum leap the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is experiencing towards bolstering the digitally-administered  government service was highlighted, to explain the achievements followed the realizing the wireless broadband project’s goals for 2020, as it reached as many as 2.6 million user, across 500 thousand household, the Kingdom-wide.

The step enabled providing IT and communications at an average speed of Internet access to 10 Megabyte per second, for each household. 

Thus the STC have managed to provide about 43 per cent of its customers, in the biggest 5 cities, across the Kingdom, with the 5G network covering service.

On the other hand, the report pointed that the performance has been associated with attaining the goal of sustainability in the consumption of electricity and oil products have decreased by 16 per cent and 18 per cent, respectively, in 2020 compared to 2019.

Meanwhile the rate of recycled plastic manufactured mobile chips has increased by 100 per cent in 2019 through to 2020, against an increase of only 33 per cent, in 2018, besides the active contribution to the digital empowerment, in the government as well as private sectors, during the pandemic, due to the resilient digital makeup.
