Stakeholders in Acwa Power before, after the Offering

The Public Investment Fund, Vision Investment Company, and Al Rajhi Group Holding Company are among the company’s significant shareholders.

Before offering 81.2 million shares for public registration, they owned 571.12 million shares, representing 88.45% of the company’s capital.

According to the data available, the major shareholders’ shareholding in the company will stay unchanged following the offering, at 571.12 million shares.

The ownership share, however, will fall to 78.11%. This is due to the fact that the firm will issue 85.3 million additional shares for the purpose of selling them on the stock market, with 4.1 million of those shares going to employees.

The Public Investment Fund controls 50% of the company’s capital before the offering, and it will decrease to 44.16% after the offering, while the number of shares remains unchanged. While the ownership of Vision Investment Company amounted to 25.76% before the offering and will decrease to 22.75%. Al-Rajhi Group’s stake in the company will decline to 11.2%, after it was 12.69% before the offering. Noting the decrease in the percentage of ownership of large owners as a result of the increase in capital.

81.2 million shares will be offered for public registration in the Saudi stock market for a period of 3 days. It starts on September 29 and ends on October 1.

According to the corporation, the prohibition would last for six months. Major shareholders who are prevented from selling their shares during this period are permitted to do so when the ban period ends.
