Over SR5.4 bln, the Profits of Saudi Banks, in August

By the end of last month, the profits of banks operating, in Saudi Arabia, had risen to SR5.411 billion or by SR44%, compared to their profits, in July 2021, that were at SR3.764 billion, while they recorded a rise of about 27% compared to theirs, in August 2020, which stood at SR4.255 billion.

Monthly Bulletin of the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia (SAMA), for August 2021, revealed.

Profits recorded, in August 2021, are the highest in the history of Saudi banks, it added.

However, the profits of Saudi Arabian banks rose to SR34.248 billion, in the first eight months of the current year by 48%, higher than their profits in the similar period of the previous year, which was SR23.243 billion.

The accumulated profits included only the results of Saudi banks operating, inside the Kingdom, without foreign branches operating abroad, in addition to the branches of foreign banks operating, in the Kingdom, which were excluded, too.
