Aramco to Divide its Gas Works into 2 Sections, to Accommodate Petrochemicals’ Expansion

Saudi Aramco have divided its gas works into two sections, as the fuel is increasingly becoming significant for the petrochemical works’ expansion, amid efforts exerted for paving itself to shift, in the realm of energy, “Maaal” the Saudi Arabian leading online business daily informed.

Close sources to the company, on conditions of anonymity, revealed the fact that Aramco have established two new sections for the Southern operations and the Northern operations, according to Bloomberg.

The two persons to head the newly incepted sections are reportedly, would report to the chief officer overseeing all upstream operation, at the Saudi giant conglomerate.

Gas significance to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the world largest producer-cum-exporter of oil, is becoming much more important, as it strife to expand its workings in the domain of petrochemicals export, an industry of which is heavily depending on gas, as its main feedstock.
