Stock performances in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries varied on Sunday, the first trading session of the week.
While UAE markets were closed, the main market index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (TASI) fell 0.38% to 10,964.71 points, amid trading valued at 3.19 billion riyals.
Aramco shares fell during the session to an all-time low of 24.05 riyals, before recovering and rising 0.04% to 24.11 riyals.
The Kuwait Stock Exchange’s general market index rose 0.04% to 8,602.13 points, amid trading valued at 118.13 million dinars.
The Bahrain All Share Index fell 0.06% to 1,944.35 points, amid trading valued at 632,244 dinars.
The Qatar Stock Exchange index rose 0.24% to 10,941.71 points, amid trading valued at 373.398 million riyals.
The Muscat Stock Exchange 30 index rose by 0.43% to 4,654.34 points.
Outside the Gulf region, the Egyptian Stock Exchange’s main index, the EGX 30, rose by 0.74% to 34,071 points.
