Aldrees Petroleum and Transport Services Co. reported a 21% increase in net profit for the second quarter, reaching SAR 99.7 million compared to SAR 82.4 million in the same quarter last year. The announcement came following the release of the company’s financial results for the six-month period ending June 30, 2025.
Operating profit for Q2 rose to SAR 143.5 million from SAR 127.8 million in the same quarter of the previous year, reflecting a 12.2% growth.
Earnings per share stood at SAR 2.00 for the current period, up from SAR 1.60 in the prior-year period.
According to the company, the increase in net profit was driven by higher sales in both the petroleum and transport segments, as well as increased income from bank deposits, sukuk investments, and other revenues. This growth occurred despite a decline in joint venture results and a rise in selling, general and administrative expenses, financing costs, and zakat.
