Lana Company announced on Sunday the completion of its acquisition of a 21% stake in Dawam International Industry Company, a Riyadh-based firm specializing in the manufacturing of medical and health food supplements.
In a statement published on Tadawul, the company said that the establishment of the Dawam International Factory represents a strategic step toward achieving self-sufficiency in the Kingdom’s medical and health food supplement sector. The factory also serves as an innovative industrial platform designed to stimulate investment in the medical and health sectors, in line with Saudi Arabia’s initiatives to enhance quality of life and support national exports.
The company expects the financial impact of this acquisition to begin on January 1, 2025. The facility is anticipated to play a vital role in strengthening food and health security in the Kingdom, offering high-quality local alternatives while supporting the growth of regional and global industrial exports in the sector.
