Saudi Stock Market Cap Drops 9.25% to 9.13 Trillion Riyals in H1 2025

The market capitalization of listed Saudi shares fell 9.25% year-on-year to 9.13 trillion riyals ($2.43 trillion) at the end of the first half of 2025.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed the first half of 2025 at 11,163.96 points, a decline of 515.54 points or 4.41% compared to its close in the first half of the previous year. The index’s highest closing point during the period was on Feb. 10, 2025, reaching 12,471.72 points.

According to the H1 2025 statistical report, the total value of traded shares during the first half of 2025 amounted to 688.09 billion riyals ($183.49 billion), a decrease of 32.76% compared to the same period in the previous year.

The total number of traded shares in the first half of 2025 was 29.44 billion, down 25.53% from 39.53 billion shares traded in the first half of 2024.

The total number of executed transactions in the first half of 2025 reached 59.73 million, a 6.89% decline from 64.15 million transactions executed in the first half of 2024.
