European STOXX 600 Index rose 1.2%

European stocks rose more than 1% on Tuesday after US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel, boosting investor sentiment and increasing risk appetite in global markets.

The European STOXX 600 index rose 1.2% to 541.78 points, and the German DAX index rose 1.8% to 23,697.65 points.

The UK’s FTSE 100 index rose 0.4% to 8,795.37 points, and the French CAC 40 index jumped 1.4% to 7,643.74 points.
