Saudi Contractors Authority: 6.5% increase in ready-mix concrete prices during May

Ready-mix concrete prices increased by 5.63% to 6.54% during May 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, while prices increased by 1.91% to 2.13% during May 2025 compared to prices in April 2025.

The “Building Materials Price Statistics” bulletin issued by the Saudi Contractors Authority stated that the price of 350k-resistant concrete reached SAR 230.64 per meter during May 2025, compared to SAR 218.39 per meter in May 2024, an increase of 5.61%. Meanwhile, the price of 250k-resistant concrete reached SAR 209.92 per meter in May 2025, compared to SAR 199.25 per meter in May 2024, an increase of 5.36%.

The bulletin indicated that the price of “350K” ordinary concrete reached 220.71 riyals per meter in May 2025, compared to 208.02 riyals per meter in May 2024, an increase of 6.10%. The price of “250K” ordinary concrete reached 201.29 riyals per meter in May 2025, compared to 188.93 riyals per meter, an increase of 6.54%. The bulletin added that the price of “350K” resistant concrete recorded its highest value in 2024 in December, reaching 219.33 riyals per meter, while January recorded its lowest price, reaching 211.97 riyals per meter. May recorded its highest price in 2025, reaching 230.64 riyals per meter, while February recorded its lowest price, reaching 224.41 riyals per meter. The bulletin stated that November 2024 recorded the highest price for 250k-resistant concrete, reaching 199.68 riyals per meter, while January 2024 recorded the lowest price, at 191.58 riyals per meter. It noted that May 2025 recorded the highest price, at 209.92 riyals per meter, while January recorded the lowest price, at 204.36 riyals per meter. The bulletin also indicated that the price of 350k-resistant concrete recorded its highest value in 2024 in December, reaching 210.02 riyals per meter, while January recorded the lowest price, at 201.41 riyals. It added that May 2025 recorded the highest price, at 220.71 riyals per meter, while February recorded the lowest price, at 214.4 riyals per meter. The bulletin confirmed that December 2024 recorded the highest price for regular concrete (250 K), reaching 191.2 riyals per meter, while January recorded the lowest price, reaching 182.45 riyals per meter. It indicated that May 2025 recorded the highest price, reaching 201.29 riyals per meter, while February recorded the lowest price, reaching 195.4 riyals per meter.
