Gas Co. announces SAR 2.5 million cash dividend for FY 2024

The Natural Gas Distribution Co. announced on Thursday that its Ordinary General Assembly (First Meeting) approved the distribution of a cash dividend of SAR 2.5 million for the fiscal year 2024, equivalent to SAR 0.50 per share, or 5% of the company’s SAR 50 million capital.

Shareholders eligible for the dividend are those holding shares at the close of trading on the day of the General Assembly and registered with the Securities Depository Center (Edaa) by the end of the second trading day following the record date. The dividend is scheduled to be distributed on 7 July 2025.

The company also announced that shareholders approved the board’s report and audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending 31 December 2024, and discharged board members from liability for the year.

Additionally, the assembly approved the appointment of Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Bassam & Partners, Certified Public Accountants, as the external auditor for fiscal year 2025, with total fees of SAR 273,000, based on the Audit Committee’s recommendation.
