Petro Rabigh Restarts Operations After Maintenance, HOFCC Unit Still Offline

Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. (Petro Rabigh) said on Monday it has resumed operations at its facilities and production units following scheduled maintenance work, with the exception of the High Olefins Fluid Catalytic Cracker (HOFCC) unit, which remains offline for extended maintenance.

The restart took effect on June 15, 2025. The company said the financial impact of the shutdown will appear in Q2 2025 results but noted the precise effect cannot yet be determined until the HOFCC resumes operations.

The maintenance was initially announced on April 13, 2025.
