Boeing Reduces Forecast for Global Aircraft Demand Growth

Boeing lowered its forecast for global commercial aircraft demand growth over the next 20 years in its annual report.

The company maintained its overall estimate of new aircraft required through 2044 at a similar level to last year.

According to the report, Boeing expects demand to reach 43,600 new aircraft by 2044, compared to the 43,975 it projected in its 2023 report, a slight decrease.

This figure includes approximately 33,300 single-aisle aircraft such as the 737 MAX, 7,800 widebody aircraft, 955 freighters, and 1,545 regional aircraft.
