Boeing Resumes Deliveries to China Amid Trade Tensions

A new Boeing 737 MAX, bearing the livery of Chinese airline Xiamen Airlines, departed Seattle on the first leg of a flight used to transport aircraft to the company’s delivery center in China.

The plane was bound for Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, one of the refueling stops Boeing aircraft use on their way across the Pacific to China.

Deliveries to Chinese customers were abruptly suspended in early April, as the US and China approached a trade war, according to CNN.
