The Japanese government plans to spend 900 billion yen ($6.3 billion) on an emergency relief package to mitigate the impact of US tariffs.
Japan’s Kyodo News Agency reported on Monday that the government intends to tap into budget reserves, which it will decide on Tuesday, and existing budgets to finance the package, which includes utility cost relief and financial aid for small businesses.
