The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) index closed the last session of the week down 114.94 points, or 1.02%, compared to the previous session, closing at 11,188.74 points.
Meanwhile, the Nomu Parallel Market index closed Thursday’s session down 156.89 points, or 0.57%, compared to the previous session, closing at 27,260.73 points.
Today’s liquidity on the Tadawul reached approximately SAR 4.4 billion, generated by the trading of 201.9 million shares through 477,000 transactions.
Across sectors, six of the market’s sectors rose, led by Real Estate Management and Development (0.5%), while 16 other sectors declined, led by Energy (3.5%). Al Rajhi Re and Takaful were the top gainers today, up 3.7%, Umm Al Qura Cement and Retal up 3.4%, and Al Babtain up 3.3%. Meanwhile, Sahel Holding Company (4.9%), Etihad Holding (3.9%), Aramco and Shams (3.6%), and Sino-Retail (3.5%) were the top decliners today.
