Arabian Pipes Co. reported on Wednesday a 26.6% drop in net profit to SAR 40.2 million in the first quarter of 2025, down from SAR 54.8 million in the same quarter last year. This came after today’s announcement of the estimated financial results for the (three-month) period ending March 31, 2023.
Operational profit fell 28% to SAR 50.8 million in the first quarter of 2025, compared to SAR 70.7 million in the same quarter a year earlier.
Profits per share in the first quarter stood at SAR 0.27, down from SAR 0.37 in the prior-year quarter.
According to the Company, the decrease in net profit is due to a decrease in gross profit, which amounted to SAR 63.66 million during the first quarter of fiscal year 2025, compared to SAR 97.67 million during the first quarter of fiscal year 2024, equivalent to a decrease of 34.82%, due to a decrease in sales volume.
