South Korea’s exports rose 3.7% year-on-year in April, marking the third consecutive month of growth.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy stated in a statement that exports reached $58.2 billion last month, while imports declined 2.7% year-on-year to $53.3 billion, resulting in a trade surplus of $4.88 billion.
The statement indicated that Korean exports to the United States declined 6.8% year-on-year to $10.6 billion last month.
