China’s Foreign Trade in Goods and Services Reaches 4.27 Trillion Yuan in March

Official data showed that China’s foreign trade in goods and services reached 4.27 trillion yuan in March, a 6% year-on-year increase.

The State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) reported that, of the total, exports and imports of goods reached 2.13 trillion yuan and 1.52 trillion yuan, respectively, resulting in a surplus of 603.4 billion yuan, according to Xinhua News Agency.

Service exports reached 239.3 billion yuan, while imports reached 379.1 billion yuan, resulting in a deficit of 139.8 billion yuan.

In dollar terms, the country’s exports of goods and services reached $329.9 billion in March, while imports reached $265.3 billion, resulting in a surplus of $64.6 billion.
