Number of workers in Saudi tourism activities exceeded 966,000 during Q4, 2024

The total number of workers in tourism activities reached 966,531 during the fourth quarter of 2024, a 4% increase compared to the corresponding quarter in 2023 (when there were 929,404 workers). The number of Saudi workers reached 242,073, representing a 25% participation rate of the total.

According to tourism establishment statistics issued by the General Authority for Statistics, the number of non-Saudi workers reached 724,458, representing 75% of the total number of workers in tourism activities. The number of male workers in tourism activities reached 837,972, representing 86.7% of the total, while the number of female workers in tourism activities reached 128,559, representing 13% of the total number of workers.
