Nikkei closes higher as investors buy stocks
Japan’s Nikkei stock index closed higher today, as investors bought stocks following signs of a recovery on Wall Street.
The Nikkei index rose 6.03% to 33,012.58, while the broader Topix index advanced more than 6% to 2,432.02.
