Japan’s Nikkei Hits 3-Week High
Japanese stocks closed higher today, hitting their highest level in nearly three weeks, tracking Wall Street’s gains yesterday and supported by corporates.
The Nikkei index rose 1.2% to close at 37,845.42, its highest close since February 27 and its third straight session of gains. The broader Topix index rose 1.29% to 2,783.56.
