Gulf stocks’ performance varied in the first session of the week today, Sunday, while the Saudi Stock Exchange “Tadawul” and the UAE markets were closed for an official holiday.
The Qatar Stock Exchange index ended the session down but maintained the 10,600 point level, while the Kuwait Stock Exchange indices closed the session in the red zone… and the main one with a 2.4% decline.
The Bahrain General Index closed today at 1,943.43, an increase of 3.35 points from the previous closing rate, and the Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 794.22, an increase of 3.95 points from its previous closing rate.
The volume of traded shares reached 1,287,004 shares with a total value of 481,640 Bahraini dinars, executed through 92 transactions.
The Muscat Stock Exchange “30” index closed today with an increase of 10.9 points, or 0.25%, at 4454.81 points, compared to the last trading session, which amounted to 4443.87 points.
The trading value amounted to 3 million, 6 thousand and 558 Omani riyals, an increase of 34.5% compared to the last trading session, which amounted to 2 million, 235 thousand and 949 Omani riyals.
The Egyptian Stock Exchange ended today’s session with a collective increase, and the thirty-sixth index rose by 0.3%.
